As Original Hauschild SpeedMixer® instruments are the most powerful mixing machine available today, Mix Cup Holders are also precision engineered to ensure superb repetitive mixing results. Each one specifically designed to seat correctly within the SpeedMixer basket. The Mix Cup Holder needs to mate well to the outer surfaces of a mixing container as both will be subjected to extremely high speeds and levels of g-force. This eliminates slip to ensure the correct speed of rotation.

Single and multi cavity Mix Cup Holders are available for simultaneous mixing of multiple containers for batch processing. These suit all vacuum and non-vacuum versions of each small, medium and large instrument.

The actual SpeedMixer basket size / width, differs across the product portfolio so correct selection of the SpeedMixer model and desired empty mixing container (Mix Cups / Cartridge / Syringe, Test-Tube or Vial) are important considerations so a specific Mix Cup Holder is required. 

Material mass of a product(s) may well change before, during and after mixing but the weight remains constant. When mixing dry powders into wetting agents the container volume is important too to ensure satisfactory 100% mixing of all the products. There are light and heavy Mix Cup Holders for the same SpeedMixers to allow for differing specific gravity.

Each Hauschild SpeedMixer® has a min / max weight capacity falling within a counterbalanced limit.

We freely offer our assistance and guidance when making your calculations. This we cover in our basic operator training, delivered when commissioning new machines but we are here at all times to help you get it right.

Due to the wide range of mixing weights the SpeedMixer can process, multiple quantities of containers can be housed in special holders, some accepting up to six containers. These improve processing times by running more than one container simultaneously, increasing productivity further.

Custom made, bespoke holders are available for other types of mix cups, syringes and cartridges which you may be using or wish to use as well. This offers the customer ultimate flexibility on the choice of container used for mixing. Mix cups are traditionally made from PP (polypropylene), these don't suit every application so aluminium, P.U, rubber, stainless steel, titanium, zirconia and YSZ (Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia) are also available to order.

Service Life
 

All Hauschild Holders are precision engineered to strict tolerances of dimensions and weight. Repeated use of any virgin mixing containers will to some degree wear the mix cup holder after prolonged use. The Mix Cup Holder will last years under normal use but they will undoubtedly still wear over time. Mother nature always wins just like car tyres will naturally wear on a vehicle over time. 

 

Preventative maintenance prevails here so regular housekeeping checks should be made by the users. As standard practice when a Hauschild prescribed service sheet is used for a SpeedMixer service we are required to scrutinise each Mix Cup Holder for its fit against the Mix Cups / vessels. this identifies the need for replacement if necessary.
